Grants Eligibility & Criteria
The Sam Sessler Foundation provides grant funding to teachers, parents, or therapists that:
- Have a child or student(s) in need of funds to access a more robust arts or sciences activity and/or curriculum.
- Can demonstrate clearly why they need funds for their student(s) or child.
- Can demonstrate clearly the approximate costs of such items.
OR
- Have a child or student(s) with a personal assistive technology need NOT being met by insurance.
The Sam Sessler Foundation awards small grants (of $100 or less) and regular grants (of more than $500). We typically award the following types of grants:
- Capital grants that support equipment and adaptive device purchases to promote inclusion for physically or cognitively challenged learners.
*The Sam Sessler Foundation can not provide grant funding to for-profit or non-profit businesses. The intent is to meet an access need for a child or student(s) that is not able to be otherwise funded.*
